Tamiya Pearl yellow

Since they don't make pearl yellow anymore, What paint (preferably acrylics)can I use to get a similar result?

Clear yellow on top of flat yellow? Chrome yellow on top of Camel yellow? etc

Thanks
Shonin

Pearl clear on yellow but I don't like so much the effect.

If you like acrylics, you'll try Zero pearl yellow (I tried Lambo's yellows) to be cleared.

Re: Tamiya Pearl yellow

I've considered zero paint, but to get a bottle imported costs the same as buying two spray can or 6 acrylic bottles locally. Its not really the economical these days.

Steve really needs to get a US distributer.

No, he doesn't.

You may want him to get a US distributor- but there's a big difference.

Then again if you want to invest some time and effort with some money, and believe you could turn a profit on it, I expect you might be able to convince him to let you give it a go.

But give it some good thought first.
