well car stalling now

it went from oilpan to not starting fixed that and now when idling it dies on me !It is a good ride the whole time then just goes? what are the reasons? I do not know i just changed well just check out all the threads i have put!

DO me a favor, look at the anti theft light and see if it is flashing right when it stalls. If so then check the battery connections and inside the drivers door panel, there's a module that goes bad often. Next, are you getting fuel, spark and air? You need all 3 to have a running engine. I would check the fuel pump relay that's located under the hood on the drivers side. Usually the wiring harness that goes the the block of relays gets loose and wiggling it while someone turns the key will isolate if that's the problem or not. After that, I would check ALL wires that we disconnected when you did this problem. Also, Come to think of it, the crank sensor underneath the car next to the a/c compressor has been known to come disconnected and in my case, the plug itself was bad, I had to go to the junk yard to get another pigtail and cut and splice the wires together and haven't have the problem since. Is the engine light on?

If your check engine light is on check for codes. If it is out but also out when you first turn the key on, check for codes anyway because the bulb is probably blown.

A faulty throttle position sensor could cause the problem you are having and if it is it should set a code.

Also too low oil pressure could cause a vehicle to stall when coming to a stop.

too low of oil pressure i just did the oil pan & added oil could it be the type of oil i used?

well it just wants to stall i went around the block and it wanted to but i gave it gas and it took a little while to come around maybe some kind of gas thing? if it is idle then it will just idle for a little 2-3 minutes if that then cut off. it sounds great and it just goes off!! i will be changing the air filter (do not think it would be that) i have done a lot of everything else so might as well do that. i am going to change fuel filter as well. what would it be???? What kind of oil you put in would make no difference as long as it was motor oil.

It definitely could be a fuel filter.

I do have one too! I need to change i just have not had time lately.
Mike man I will call you soon!! Maybe in AM cause i have work at 1. it also depends on my son (2yrs sick in hospital) might be getting out?
well i did change the fuel filter and it still wanted to die on me!

what else is next? if i took it to a place "advanced auto/ auto zone pep boys" could they hook up the car or would they need to just check the whole car out? Money is tight and need to go the right way anyway i go!! what else can i do before i get smack with a big price tag on labor?
