Aoshima Toyota Corolla TE72

New one of mine... Aoshima kit of the 81 Corolla TE with some SSRs and a dropped stance. Testors laquer Root Beer brown. Not a fan of the paint on this one, first time using a new brand. Love the color, just not the finish. Hopefully the next one with this paint will come out a bit smoother.

Seems to be a lot of Brown cars popping up! I like that trend!

Thanks for looking!

Thanks, the seats were supposed to be a little different. The 1:1 Corolla had an interior option that was beige seats with two thin brown stripes. But due to a paint masking error, mine became full center sections.

Re: Aoshima Toyota Corolla TE72

Finally a model of this car built!
I wish there are more models of the modern 90's - 2000-ish corollas, They would make for great subjects in dioramas!
You did a nice job there.

Re: Aoshima Toyota Corolla TE72

That is a cool little build! A mainstream car with personality. I love it.

I'm curious as to how you did the paint. I've used the Testors Laquers, and never had a problem with orange peel. I'm a lazy "rattlecan" painter. Spraying from cans while my Passche airbrush gathers dust.
