oil consumption

My '99 SW1 started using more oil than normal. PCV valve checked ok. When i had the engine running, I noticed that the PCV tube had collapsed. It was really soft and oilly. It's replaced, hopefully that's the problem.

Re: oil consumption

I haven't had to do an oil change since i replaced the hose, but since I last added oil, it appears to have helped.

Re: oil consumption

I did an oil change several weeks ago - looks like the hose fixed the excessive consumption.
