Brakes

Can anyone tell why on my 01 Tribute my brakes feel like the anti-lock brakes are engaging during normal braking? Does not happen all the time. Thank You

Re: Brakes

I would stop by a local reputable auto service and have them check the brakes for wear. Also, there was a recall on the ABS control module so I would think about that also. 1st step would be to have the brakes inspected and if your Tribute falls under the recall, have the module replaced. That is a full recall so it should not cost you anything. I could be wrong but you very well could have the rotors getting uneven which causes high/low places making the pads feel like they are pulsating. Best wishes.
