New to forum 98 Taurus question
I'm new to the forum, and so glad to find it - thanks for being here. Usually I am here just reading before calling a mechanic. But today I decided to join so I can post. Please help if you can. I took my 98 Taurus to the mechanic for a Transmission Range Sensor to be installed, service the transmission fluid and filter and power steering fluid change. I have been having some intermittment power steering problems, and knew that the TRS switch need replacing for a while so I decided to do that first after reading about it here. When I picked the car up, soon realized that the cruise control was NOT working. Anyone know why that might be before I go back to him? It was working right up until 1 mile before his shop, so I'm thinking it must have something to do with the TRS installation? Thanks!

Re: New to forum 98 Taurus question
It is possible the mechanic may have left something unplugged. Look down around the master cylinder on top of transmission to see if anything may be unplugged.
