fuel pump location
so i need to be clarified is the access hatch underneath the rear seat in the 4th gen hatch's indeed the fuel pump access hatch or is the pump infact in the rear of the tank meaning you have to drop the tank to do it.

Re: fuel pump location
Well, according to the manual you have to drop the tank. I just had the little cap you are talking about off on a crx the other day and the only thing it gives access to is the fuel level sender piece. I could not see the pump anywhere. I've heard rumors that you can get to it from there, but i couldn't see how.

Re: fuel pump location
You can get to it from there if you partially drop the tank.
You just drop it down low enough that you're at the end of the threads on the studs, and then take that access plate out, and you should BARELY be able to see the other side of the fuel pump. I've seen that on some, it works, on others, it doesn't. For whatever reason (possibly stud length/strap shape/amount of fuel still in tank)
