02 GTP Need help!
New to this , but I was checking my spark plug wires today, and the wire came off, but the metal tip that snaps into the spark plug broke and stood on the plug. can I just pop it back in the wire or do I need a new wire?

Re: 02 GTP Need help!
You need a new set of wires. Probably best to change out the plugs too while your at it.

Re: 02 GTP Need help!
GTP? Ever plan on upgrading to a smaller pulley? If so a lot of us run autolite plugs. Might be a good time to throw in a set of colder plugs if your planning on modding. I'm running autolite 605's and they do just fine. They are one range colder.
If you plan on sticking to stock I would recomment ac delco 41-101 iridium or its NGK counterpart (not sure on the part number off the top of my head) Dot replace them with bosch, and its probably a good idea to use standard ac-delco wires.

Re: 02 GTP Need help!
but becareful with anything other than delco or autolite copper plugs. copper is the best for even heat displacment which is very imp in our cars esp if you plan to mod. don't go with that split fire crap or bosch stuff either...
I run 3.4 and autolite 104...and you DON'T need special wires...the stock wires will get you far into the modding process... Good Luck |

Re: 02 GTP Need help!
For a stock GTP I'd go with the NGK TR55IX Iridium. Thats what I use in my Regal GS. Good cost versus the Delco counterpart. Also, the NGK TR series copper core (TR55 V Power) work fine too. I use the Autolite 103 copper core in my GTP for obvious reasons.
Note: The recommended AC Delco replacement spark plugs are the 41-101 which are Iridium. Made by NGK for GM.
