VW Golf MKII GTI

Today I finished this very nice kit from Fujimi.

I painted it with an Opel color named Tapasbrun metallic. In real life someone would kill me using Opel parts on a VW but in 1/24 everything is possible

here are the pics:

It was a very nice kit to build. Everything fitts very well, and lowering the car was easier than I thougt it would be.

I'll build more of these kits in the future.

Here's a short list with some accesoires/modifications I added:

- maximum lowered
- Aoshima HTN wheels with stretchwall tyres
- metal exhausttip
- single wiper in the front
- rear wiper removed
- black interiorflocking
- other seats
- magazines and modelkit for the interior
- PE pedals
- ScaleProduction steeringwheel

Thanks for watching!

Kris.

This model has 2 metal axles where you install the wheels. I just cutted the holes higher in the wheelarches, so the axle sits higher. On the rear it's the same. I also didn't use the subframe for the rearsuspension. Sometims looks goes for reality

Looks nice! Clean german OEM+ style! Loving it!

This forum does seem to be a little slow lately. Lots of lurking...not much posting!

Re: VW Golf MKII GTI

Very nice and clean work... it doesn't matter the color is Opel's, it looks very good in the Golf... and the interiors look great. The car looks very clean and neat to have a magazine and a model box a little messy... jeje ... just joking, the detail of the box and the magazine is great.

Saludos!!!
