frame width
I have a trailer hitch and I'm trying to figure what kind of truck it goes on. Does anyone know if any of the GM trucks have a frame that measure 39 1/2" from center to center?

If you can find a model number stamped into it or on a label, you might have luck Googling it. Frame width is only one criteria...the mounting holes are another, along with the receiver hitch drop height. Or you can take it to a hitch installer, they might have enough experience to identify the right vehicle for it. Good luck!
