factory plug wires
97 f150 4.6. I do believe my wires are factory. They have the year of the truck printed on them.
They dont do that on replacement ford wires do they? Thanks Truck misses alot. code po304 (#4 misfire) I've heard of the heater hose leaking above it. I may have that but I just took off the plug wire and it just tore apart on the plug. (200,000 miles on it) |

Re: factory plug wires
Most replacement wires fron the manufacturer are Motorcraft and they don't put the year on them. You can use any good quality wire set, but stay with Motorcraft plugs. If you can do the Motorcraft wires, you should be good for another few years. Good luck.

Re: factory plug wires
I change the plugs and I did find that the heater hose was leaking on the #4 plug. Tightened it up and and replaced plugs and wires and it runs great. Now i just have to replace the belt and the the radiator is leaking bad. I was told that those radiators arn't very fixable. .

Re: factory plug wires
Replace the whole radiator,no one fixes them anymore since it a waste of time and your money.
