blinking battery light
I have a 96 sc2 manual, 227k and the battery light on the dash will come on and be intermittent. It will stay on for a while, or it may blink or flicker like its a loose wire. The alternator, starter, tensionor replaced last year, and battery replaced about 1.5 year ago. There dont seem to be any loose or corroded connections under the car. But, when light is off, I get 14+ volts at the battery, and when the light is on I still get 13.5 + volts at battery. SO any ideas?

Re: blinking battery light
I checked the back of the cluster, everything seems ok.

Re: blinking battery light
If it is the alternator it will surely not be long before you know. Just about every light possible will come on in the cluster. lol. For now I don't think you have to worry. With saturns it's normally the ABS light that comes on. Then you are running on borrowed time. Approximately 30-45 minutes or so.
Did you check the ground cables?
