My proudist Kill thus far

While I don't condone street racing. Never have never will, there are those rare times when I will bite.

Every once in a while on my way to work at 5:20am I have had this particular red Porsche 930 TT come snotting up and past me. He seems to have one huge lead foot and proud of it.

Well being in a rather aggitated state due to not being able to visit the boards I was in one of those moods. Traffic was extremely light and as I merged onto the motorway here comes Mr. lead foot. The morning was very cool and a light drizzle. I flick the boost controller to high boost 15psi and paced him for a few seconds to see what he would do. He started to move so I dropped and let it all out.

It wasn't even close. As I did so did he but either due to lack of traction or grunt either or I screamed away at a very rapid pace and within about 12 secs he was a minimum of 6 car lengths behind. After that time I felt so much better backed it down to just under the limit and he came screaming past me at I would guess 230ish k's (142mph). I laughed as he nearly lost it and slammed into the concrete devider. Some guys just don't have a clue.

That's a great kill man! I hope he didn't tear up his car. It would be a shame to destroy such a nice car due to idiocy.

Razor has asked me to post on his behalf b/c he is having connection problems:

Quote:
Razorgtst: someone asked if the porshe hit the wall
Razorgtst: he didn't
Razorgtst: lost control and spun out though
And that's all she wrote.

Sorry guys right after I posted that I was unable to get back to the forums for any sustained time with all the DNS issues happening.

Cheers Tangie you are sweet

Na the porshe spun out really spectacularly though. He did at least 4 full 360's and managed to somehow keep it off the wall. Lucky bastard.

Cheers.

Not going to. I am going to replace the whole gearbox as it will be about the same price or less. Funny that, but also at nearly $3,000 plus it will be a bit. I need to sort out a few other things such as some rear panel damage from a garage door, egg shaped tyres, and a radio. The factory unit is killing me.

I still have third gear but since the syncro is a bit buggered it really doesn't want to go in under a load so double clutching is the only to get it in, or be really nice
