Wholesale Car Price List

Hey Fo,

I'm doing some research in a legislative office right now and we're looking into titling vehicles. In order to move forward I need to see the wholesale prices of cars to make revenue projections. Does anyone know where I can find such a list. I'm looking for mostly 2008 used car wholesale prices, but also for a 2004 kia.

Thanks,

TK

Re: Wholesale Car Price List

Personally I think you're a con with your post when you added the 2004 Kia, but I will give you the benefit of doubt by answering how true wholesale is arrived at by dealers.

Consumers today, navigate to sites - kbb - edmonds - autotrader - nada - to get wholesale value, it's not true wholesale value, what you get is a guideline.

True value on any specific vehicle can vary from state to state, subject to supply and demand " example " a dealer can win a bid on a car in the east that will cost much more in the west.

The real true price for a dealer is looking at previous dealer auction sheets within their territory to a arrive at a fair bidding price.

So what you really want is to get your hands on are dealer auction sheets, I got access through all dealer auction sheets in North America, should I pass this information on ???,,, I don't think so, it would be like me handing you a wholesale sheet going to Home Depot knowing what they paid.

Now about the value for a 2004 Kia, how much gas is in it ?,

Re: Wholesale Car Price List

Hey thanks man,

I'm for real no worries, we've been using the same set of cars to run revenue scenarios for a potential change in motor vehicle title fees here in GA and the one we keep using for the low end is an 04 Kia Rio. I've been on Edmunds and KBB because they're free and then I saw Gavels and Black Book which require membership fees. I think that there's enough free info out there to piece everything together though. I really appreciate you taking the time.

All the best,

TK

Re: Wholesale Car Price List

Your reseach in a legislative office, I appreciate your come back, but tell me, why would you not just contact a few used car manager"s at local dealerships in your area , to get the info ?

As for you thinking that there's enough free info out there to piece everything together by looking for answers on the Internet, I question that , show me one link ? that has given you the answers you been looking for.
