Where does this wire go?

Putting it all back together after new rings and valves.

I cannot remember where this goes. It looks like a ground wire that
is attached to the driver side firewall on the backside and I-don't-know-where on the other end. It also has a coupling in the middle which I am touching with my middle finger. It goes on something in the distributor area or below or behind it.

it goes to one of the 3 bolts on the housing that the distributor slides into
