Exclamation 1988 Ninety8 Stalling

My car started stalling while driving or idling. At first once the engine got warm, then after a few seconds then nothing. I replaced the ignition module with a spare i had in my trunk(i had two more in the trunk), it died the same, the third module ran for a while I took it on the highway drove it for about 50 miles hit the city and it stalled. Restarted once cool got me home just fine. Next day car barely makes it down the block. I bought two Delco modules(97 Bonnevilles) from the junkyard one from a running car outside(they had the car running for a hour the be sure it worked). They both worked for a few hours and same symptoms all over again....stalling. Ive had to swap back my old modules just to get out of traffic or make it home. Ive considered the crank sensor, but have NO engine light. No warning at all besides the studder before it stalls. Ive checked EVERYTHING. The fuel pump runs with no problems. Fuel Regulator appears to be ok. All the modules are used so are all 5 of them bad?

code 42 when code read manually...electric spark curcuit.

Pretty sure its the modules, when the car stalls and i swap it for the next one and its starts and runs fine until the one goes out too. Sometimes seems to happen with car cold sometimes.

Re: 1988 Ninety8 Stalling

I would try to dig deep and get a new ignition module, and new coil, or does this car have the coil packs?

Make sure the more problematic crank sensor is not the issue here.
