Understanding my leak..

I have a 96 f. tbird lx 4.6 at. Noticed a small drip building up and first thought it was coming from a oil pan bolt. But after lifting and inspecting, I noticed a bolt, 10mm, was the point of action. Its next to the oil filter. Is there something that attachs to the engine block that holds the oil filter? Looks like something like that. Any help would be sweet. Thanks.

Sounds like the oil filter adapter housing.
There is a gasket between it and the engine block.

Re: Understanding my leak..

Thanks abunch! Sound like exactly what it is. The housing is held on my only 3 10mm bolts? Any help on how I would fix this gasket problem. Any way with no lift and not removing the engine mounts (dont want the hassle >_<). Thanks again

For anyone who might wanted to know, or maybe correct me. But I was told by my mechanic cousin that you cant just buy the gasket for it. But you need to get the whole part w gasket... 110ish from a dealership
