93 Celica...

I am going to look at a '93 Celica for my son tomorrow. Just wondering if there is anything specific I should be aware of. It has AT, AC, 2.2L, dual exhaust and has low 100K. The body on it looks solid and well maintained. Any pointers that any of you can help with would be great. Thanks ahead of time.

Re: 93 Celica...

FYI-I bought it. Engine sounded and performed excellent. There were no leaks anywhere and the Tranny shifted excellent. No smoke from the exhaust at start-up and after test drive.

The bads(all minor): two small surface rust spots approximately the size of a nickel, needs struts/shocks, and some exhaust work.

Good job. Exhaust and struts are straight forward. No worries there.
