Interesting idea, and on another car it could be really cool- but I'm just not seeing it on an old classic Skyline. They're worth a freaking fortune now- so it's hard to imagine any driver constantly turning down the offers of 500,000 or 1,000,000 yen he'd be regularly getting for it from collectors looking to restore it. It would be like a hoodride Ferrari 246. Maybe on something like a 240Z, but the Skyline seems so impossibly unlikely that I just can't get around it.

But I know where you might soon be able to get a really sweet RB26 to put in it.

thanks MPWR for the comments, and yeah, i get your point. these KPGC10s in real life are hardly found in these kind of conditions. but i wanted to do a "what if" scenario on a kpgc10.

i guess the owner really did turned down the 1m yen offers to his classic skyline.

I like it because it is different. Possible? Sure, Likely? Doubtful. But well executed in my opinion.

There are a couple of skylines I have seen on various places around the net kinda like this. Not genuine article GT-Rs, but base model 2doors. The ones worth the big bucks are real GTRs.

@exhaust smoke: its an AMG rim from fujimi. i got it from a Biyo Toyota Supra kit and the Touge Series RX7 FC3S kit

@lownslow: you are correct. boro-boro is the jdm beater rod.
