Honda Integra Type-R

Today I finished the Honda Integra Type R from Fujimi. It's a simple kit but I like it very much.
I found a picture on the internet with exactly the same car, so I used that as reference.

I like the car a lot And I also think it looks like the reference pic as well

Things I did/added to the car:

- black interiorflocing
- Pe footpedals
- some decals
- Fujimi metal exhaust
- Aoshima Advan RG wheels

Hope you like it!

Kris.

Re: Honda Integra Type-R

IMO panels lines are really, really, really too heavy...
It also seems there is some scratches and black traces on rear bumper (on the right and right side of it ??) but except that, it's a nice model.
White body and gold wheels combination sounds like evidency.
good job

I agree on the panel lines, but apart from that, this is some superb job you've done!

Re: Honda Integra Type-R

it looks simple and gorgeous!
but if i were you, i would paint the headlamp black! it would be more kicking look i reckon
did you use a marker/millipen (like the 0.05 one) to make the panel lines?

Re: Honda Integra Type-R

Looks very much like the original, imo.

Paint looks excellent too. Especially as white is not the easiest of colours to get right.

Panellines have already been mentioned, but that is also a matter of taste. I don't find it very disturbing.
I noticed that window-surrounds, especially on the rear window, look a bit (a teeny-weeny bit) messy... But I've been having problems with those myself in the past...
If I have some overspill I usually use a toothpick (wooden) to scratch away the excess paint. But only when the window surrounds have been painted after applying clear...

Re: Honda Integra Type-R

Very nice! The white paint is beautiful and white is something I always struggle with. If you're happy with the panel lines, then great, but there are tricks to limit how heavy they are - personally, my trick is to not add them at all. I have see good results, especially with these light colored cars, where the car is painted a few coats, the panel lines added, then the rest of the coats added so they fade like a shadow. DerXL's tip about the window rubbers is right on, too, after the hard (ie, lacquer) paint and clear have dried, add the window rubbers with careful masking and acrylic through an airbrush, and scratch off any excess. Works perfectly.

Don't take these badly, the care is great! I love the combination of the paint and the wheels, the work is very well done, and you really captured the look of the 1:1 perfectly. Fantastic work!
