|
need some code help and a main relay ?
ok so i noticed on my pm6 im gettin 1 long flash folowed by 4 short flashes. im thinkin it might be o2 sensor cuz of the two wires but 1 sensor. i went to start it tonight and when i turned the key forward i heard a vibratin noise only to find out it wuz comin form the main relay. symptom of a fried relay? i have a spare.... some where... which led me to comin on here just to see if the mad search is necessary. thanks for any help.

why is it i put posts on here with good details and i get no answers when others put non descriptive posts on here and get mass amounts of answers? this site is kinda confusin me.

Code 14 is EACV - Electronic Air Control. On the MPFI intakes its on the back of the intake, if you have dpfi it's on the top drivers side of the intake. If you are getting a buzzing from your main relay it's either a bad ground or a bad relay. I one do that to me once, put a second one in and it did the same thing. Come to find out it was a bad connection somewhere in the engine bay, but I'm drawing a blank as to what it was. I'll ask my buddy if he remembers what we did to fix it.
