grinding/heavy vibration from front wheels
I just starting to hear a Grinding/ heavy vibration coming from the front left side. I pulled the wheels and the brakes were worn out. It has 70.000 miles on it and they were replaced before. I also put new rotors on and rotated the tires to see if that would help. It sounds like it could be a bad bearing? It looks like you can't just buy a bearing. It's a complete unit w/ the lug bolts also. If this is what I need. Is it a big job for a do it yourselfer? Thanks Jack

Re: grinding/heavy vibration from front wheels
hmmm im tring to figure out if its the brakes or not. Brake would be a grinding noise if they are that bad y...it would be metal from pads rubbing the rotors.....is t louder and harder when you hit the brakes? I wheel hub (wheel bearing assembly) its more like a constant hum...when you turn the wheel right or left it would stop and/or quite down depending on what side it is..You can do it yourself if you are okay with cars. Thay sell/rent the tools you well need to make thing allot easier....
