Exclamation IATS Help?????

I own a 95 Civic Ex VTEC, Auto coupe. When i bought the car the check engine light was already on and the dude said it was just a sensor. Well it has a AM Intake on it. I took the car to the shop to get the code checked and it came back saying it was the IATS Sensor. The mechanic even tried looking for the sensor and couldn't find it. We think maybe the previous owner disconnected it and removed the wire? Idk but i would just like to solve this issue as i heard ppl saying the car would run better with it fixed, Not only that but its really annoying seeing the check engine light always on!

I'm so desperate that if someone can help me fix this prob I'll send ya a few bucks thru PayPal. No joke. But only 1 person! lol

Here is a pic of my engine bay, i can get better pics later if u want.

Re: IATS Help?????

The '96+ Civic do have the IAT sensor on the intake pipe (where one would think it would be), but the older ones have them on the manifold. It's on the back of the intake manifold, closer to the driver's side. It's a white plug that is held on to the manifold by 2 philips head screws. Here's a picture from the service manual that shows where it is. It's labeled as the "TA Sensor" but it is the IAT sensor (do a google search of: Honda ta sensor :if you want to be sure for yourself).
