hid upgrade which one?

2000 gtp. just moved into the sticks so most roads are unlit and windy. i bought new light hosings cause the old ones were dull and foggy. i also have sylvania silverstars if thats spelled right. anyway i used some veil antilaser coating on them ( which does work well by the way), but it dims the light output. i wanna go with an hid upgrade kit and wanted to know if anyone can suggest which ones to go with. im thinking about 5000k but brands im having trouble with. i know everything bosch makes is quality and iv heard mculloch has a good rep. anyone have any knoledge on this? i need a quality product, but dont need to spend an extra 200$ on the ferarri of headlights. if i had money to waste id be in a ferarri. any help i appreciate. ps i need bixenon. mcullochs are 300$ and bosch is 250$. thaks for anyhelp

Re: hid upgrade which one?

Stay away from ZZP's brand of HID's.

Me and my g/f both have a 6000k set from this ebay seller. We have both been very happy.

Make sure when you buy that they are "bi-xenon". Or else you will get a junk set where only the high beams are actually HID.... JUNK!

Do you get a good light pattern with actual working high beams? I have heard that a lot of ebay sellers where selling 9007 kits that where 9007/9004 kit but would only worked in the manner that 9004 bulbs work. The 9004 bulbs move back and forth when changing to hight form low vs the 9007 move side to side.

Re: hid upgrade which one?

yes, light pattern seems pretty good. Low beams are mor angled downward, and high beams focus farther out and wide.

I had one in backwards when I first put them in. (one was high beam and the other was low beam) Once I gopt it figured out, all was well.
