90 sunbird transmission
I have a 90 Sunbird 2.0 with an automatic transmission. Sitting at the stop light got ready to take off and it started making a grinding noise and had no forward or reverse. With the car in park it will roll and you have to use the emergency brake to keep it froom going . When it is ideling it is ok but when you put it in gear the speedometer jumps up to 17 mph and makes the grinding noise, and it will not move. Any ideas what I should look for?. Thanks
