Engine Swap or Tranny Swap????????
I am considering either doing a engine swap or tranny swap. The vehicles are a 93 Voyager 3.3 with bad tranny good engine and 94 Voyager with bad 3.3engine and good tranny. Both body's in good shape.
Here is the thread about bad engine: http://forum.chryslerminivan.net/showthread.php?t=11232 If doing a engine swap what are the best lift points on the engine???? Thanks for any thoughts and tips |

Re: Engine Swap or Tranny Swap????????
I would swap out the transmission not only because the the one with the bad one is newer but also it should be easier.

Re: Engine Swap or Tranny Swap????????
Sorry I should have been a little more clearer. The 93 has a 3.3 good engine with bad transmission (4 Speed) and the 94 has a 3.3 Bad Engine and good transmission (4 speed). To my knowledge everything should be compatable.
Does anyone know when Chrysler stopped installing the Bendix brake system???? |
