stock speakers?

I did a search and can't seem to find what the stock speakers are in a 93 eddie bauer (sp) edition.. Mine are cracking really bad and need replaced! If anyone knows the size that would be great..

Re: stock speakers?

Not sure on the location, looks like they're probably 6x8. The Explorers often have the main speakers in the doors, front and rear. You might explore Crutchfield to see if there is more detail there, or The 12 Volt.

Re: stock speakers?

Yeah, 6x8 is not real common, but most of the 5x7s will have elongated screw holes and be advertised to fit 6x8 locations as well. Most of the 80's to 90's Fords use 6x8s stock, so there are quite a few aftermarket 5x7 options.
