Passlock 2 bypass help

I have a 1999 malibu with the wonderful passlock 2 system.I am looking for information to bypass the system completely.I CAN NOT start the car so the method of testing the ohms is not possible.I am sure there is a way to bypass it without having to be able to start the car.Any help would be greatly appreciated.

...............Let me add this to the story.I bought the car,did not run, abandonded vehicle.I found out the BCM was bad because of multiple things like,no interior lights, buzzer or gas gauge.I replaced the BCM with a used one.Same exact part number. Now it has codes po1630 and po1631.Tried the KOEO to reset VTD system (multiple times). It continues to set the same two codes and no start.I am wondering if the BCM and ECM/PCM have to be replaced together in order to work.Just a guess, somebody has surely had this problem before.

Re: Passlock 2 bypass help

When you replace the BCM, regardless of part number- you can rest assured the BCM must be re-programmed with a Tech II scan tool with a techline terminal link to enter all the body functions and programming codes. I just read this from the service manual. Do you have the manual? Are you sure the original BCM was bad? Looks like you need to find someone who can program it for you..

Re: Passlock 2 bypass help

I've been reading about this and there's a long thread and everyones talks about soldering a resistor between the ignition wires but I can't find a write up.
