Headlight issue 96 ciera

Hello. My fiance has a 1996 Cutlass Ciera Sl, 3.1V6 Auto. The other day the headlights died while she was driving. AAA showed up, the guy wiggled the fuses under the hood a bit and they came back on, so she started driving again. About 3 miles from home, they went out again and wouldn't come back. As it stands, the headlights and tail lamps won't turn on, the radio won't display jack, the ABS idiot light is on, but there is heat(the fan blows as well), the fuses in the glovebox are all good, and I can't see anything disconnected. Any ideas?

Just did. They look ok, but I'm not sure how to check them. Five small boxes with wires under them, correct?

Swap a few of them and make sure the contacts are clean.

Re: Headlight issue 96 ciera

Get a test light or ohm meter & test the connections on the light switch itself. The ABS light on may mean there is something wrong with the ABS system, if it is on all the time, and the computer has disabled the ABS. Get the brakes checked with a brake system scanner.
