1998 Jimmy problems
A few weeks ago my 1998 Jimmy started giving me problems. At first all the gages in may car would go down to zero as soon as I started driving. Then the it stopped shifting on its own, like it was always stuck in 4th gear. I can shift it manually and sometimes the gages will pop back up again when I shift into 3rd. Then 2 days ago I started having trouble getting my car out of the ignition. Any suggestions as to what the problem could be and how I caould fix it?? Thanks!

Sounds like a problem with the ignition switch. Either adjustment, replacement, or a loose connection.
