Fujimi F430 Challenge Brakes On a Revell 612?
Has anyone had any experience doing this? The 612 brakes are really wimpy looking, need bigger brakes!

Re: Fujimi F430 Challenge Brakes On a Revell 612?
It's not too difficult.
--Drill a hole and insert a rod of 2.0 mm dia (don't glue it yet.) --Dry-fit the rotor, wheel and tire, and check how they appear when the body is fitted to the chassis. --Adjust the depth of the wheel & tire by adding sandwiching a plastic sheet between the rotor and the wheel hub, or cutting off a portion of the hub. --Glue the pin and rotor to the hub. I used the rotors that came with one of Fujimi's 18" wheel set. ![]()
