1977 El Camino Int. Driver Door Handle -NEED

I am looking for an interior drivers side door handle for 77 El Camino. My handle snapped at the base.

What is the deal with this handle. I have been looking for 2 years, and inspection is way overdue. Tried junkyards, online, etc. Every year pops but that one. I have better luck with my 64 Buick.
