|
car shut off after engine reach normal temperture ?
My friend own a 1999 Chrysler LHS 150k miles, some how the car turn on and she let it idle until it reach normal temperture, then it just shut off. What is this could be ? thanks

Try this... At start, check for exhaust pressure at the end of the tailpipe. If there is no exhaust, the system is plugged up. All of that heat and fumes are being brought back up to the engine and is stalling it out. Most of the problem with that is a plugged up catalytic converter. You may need to have it replaced or you exhaust system overhauled.
