gmc pick up

So, after a friend saw my ratty Ranchero model, he wanted me to make a model of his truck! A 1985 gmc sierra.
Problems are: 1) there are no models of this truck, closest is the '84 Fall guy release , which I have but it's a shortbed. I can extend the bed though.
2) The model has no side emblems. Do any of you have experience with those decal maker programs and printers? Which ones will let me scale back the pictures and still get a legible decal?
3) Any ideas about how to replicate the bedliner? Especially the sides, besides cutting many, many, many small strips and glueing them...
I'm racking my brain and looking all through the house to come up with a material that would come close to that bedliner, but can't find anything.
Any ideas??

You might want to consider purchasing the Scale Production Fall Guy Transkit. It has the extended bed and Sierra markings.

For the bedliner I'd try to find packaging material or something similar. If you're not successful try to find Evergreen sheets. They are available with similar textures...
