HVLP Turbine (which one)

Looking to buy a HVLP system. Ive read all the ads, all have the same claims!!! Apollo Vs. Fuji Vs. Axispro, which one of these in a 4 stage version would you recommend.

Accuspray or Lex-Aire turbine gun?????

Re: HVLP Turbine (which one)

The best way to buy a gun is to check the needle size. If i remember to shoot a base coat you want a small needle size to give a good spray pattern. Another tip is , you want a seperate gun for primer and seperate gun for clear. A good needle size for base cates is about 1.2 if i remember.

Re: HVLP Turbine (which one)

I honestly do not know anything about either one of the guns. What do they claim? Are they supposed to produce less overspray. I use HVLP SATA and 3M HVLP (Graco I think - I don't know if they still make them) Very good guns. However, I don't know much about the type of guns that you're talking about. What are the advantages?

Re: HVLP Turbine (which one)

I found that devillbus is a good gun fpr primer. Sata is a great gun for base and clear. when you spray with a sata you wont want any another gun. To be honest its what you get use to.Keep this in mind.....the larger the size of the needle the more material comes out. We call it hosing lol
