93 Stealth Idle Problems
I have a 93 dodge stealth non-turbo SOHC 5-speed. A couple of days ago when I stopped at a light, the idle stayed up at 1500 rpm's. The next light it stopped at 2200 rpm's and then went to 3000 rpm's by itself. It now wants to idle between 1700 and 2000 rpm"s. I've cleaned the IAC and did a meter test on the TPS. Now though I've noticed a whistle coming from under the middle of the plenum chamber at around 2000 rpm's. Is there anything vacuum operated under it that could be leaking? Can the plenum chamber be moved to look under it without disconnecting very much? Could a leak like that be causing my problem? I appreciate any advice you can share with me.

Re: 93 Stealth Idle Problems
If there is a vac leak it could very well cause a high idle.
