my power locks will not lock when put into gear, dome light will stay on, and horn will not sound when using remote to lock. but when it rains, everything seems to work right. had this problem once before with the security light on. dealership replaced computer and worked great for about a year. could this be a grounding problem.

Re: 2001 grand am keyless entry, power locks, dome light, problem
Sounds like a body control module issue again, they are known to leak water in that corner, check the connector on the bcm for water intrusion, the pins may be green

![]() When replacing it this time (if it is indeed bad), fix the water leak. The leaking water will keep ruining every new one you install.

Re: 2001 grand am keyless entry, power locks, dome light, problem
Welcome to AF deadroach !
If you have a sun roof the drains are prone to leak. It runs down the front pillars and runs out onto the fusebox(s) and or on top of the BCM which is under the glove box. If it hasnt been a full year, fix the drain and the warranty should cover to replace it, if its under the year warranty period.
