1987 caprice classic fuel line question
I have a fuel leak that`s running from the top of the tank down the front of the tank and along the bottom thus dripping on the ground. I`m wondering if there`s a rubber flex line on top of the tank (can`t see) that may be leaking or is it a metal line from tank to engine. I always keep my tank topped off.

metal ines come off the tank top where I believe on your vehicle the gas line rubber hoses are connected ,,,then after 2 feet or so the metal lines take over..to the engine compartment.. I forgot to mention topping off the fuel tank and parking the vehicle is a NO NO... you will in a very short time damage the fuel evap system.... |
