Talking 98 jetta 2.0 M/T stalls 3500-4200 RPM

My intentions were to simply replace my valve cover gasket and the cap/rotor. Now the car stalls at low speeds 20-30 mph. I also treated the intake with seafoam motor treatment. Thinking it may have clogged the converter, I removed it, and was able to see through it, so I reinstalled it. I looked for cracked lines and repaired a couple. I tried the spraying water trick on the coil and distributor area. I disconnected several electrical connectors and treated them with isopropyl. I sprayed carb cleaner to look for vacuum leaks. When it stalls, if I keep pressing the gas the car will die, as soon as I let go of it and press in the clutch, the car will idle. I double checked the dist cap installation and firing order too. Any ideas?

Re: 98 jetta 2.0 M/T stalls 3500-4200 RPM

Here's an update. I used a code scanner at Checkers. I got the following codes with the key on: p1544, p0121, p0510, p1452,p1580, p0103. I then started the car and got p1580. A lot of these codes have to deal with the throttle position.
