Re: 2005 towncar navigation
Think of Best Buy, you can use ONE GPS in Primary,Secondary, and Rental Cars.

Also, you're going to have to consult your manuals to be sure your installed system allows for the add-on you desire...
Your dealer parts man would be happy to give you advise and part numbers.. give 'em a shout and let us know how that goes.

Re: 2005 towncar navigation
My advice to you is to purchase a Garmin GPS. They developed the technology.
Do not purchase a new one because you can purchase a refurmished one where the repair work was performed by Garmin. They also provide one free map update on most models. My guess is that most refurbished units come from rental cars. The refurbished one will have the same warranty as a new one, but will likely be half or less the price of a new one. Do a lot of comparison shopping because you can pay $600 or as little as $200 for the same unit. Read the reviews from individuals who hve a particular model because some have poor antenas and the GPS signal is frequently lost. I have a refurbished Garmin C550 Streetpilot that has an excellent antena system and can now be purchased for about $150. It has been discontinued by garmin, but there are still lots of them available. Good luck. |
