New Airbrush Question

Hi guys,

I'm still on the look for an airbrush! I considered a Tamiya:

http://www.tamiya.com/english/produc...basic_comp.htm

I really thought it would fit my needs, but I don't like that it runs on batteries and that I have to get a recharger for it. That really increases the price to something I'm not very willing to spend.

So I continued looking around, and found one in a store here in Sweden. I have no link unfortunately, but I can give some specifications, and someone might be able to tell me if it's good enough for car modelling

Capacity: 45 litres/min.
Max. pressure: 2,4 bar (continious 2,0 bar).
1400 rpm.
Effect: 60 W. 230 V.
Weight: 3,3 kg.

Crossing my fingers

Cheers,
Fred

EDIT: If more info is needed, I'll try and find it!

Re: New Airbrush Question

A kind of misleading title...so far you've mainly been talking about compressors, not airbrushes. That Tamiya one looks good, but as you've stated you don't want to buy the charger, the second compressor you've given the specs on looks good enough for modelling but more information would be helpful (brand name, type of compressor, air-hose size etc). Also if you give some more detailed requirements about what you want I'm sure with the wealth of knowledge here, someone can recommend something for you.

Re: New Airbrush Question

Sorry about the name of the title.

Hm that seems to be the only info I can find. The brand is some Swedish one I think, might be the stores own brand. In that case it's called Biltema, which might only be helpful if there are some Swedes around here..
Anyway I'll try and search some Swedish forums and see what I can find.

Thanks for info btw, appriciate it

Cheers,
Fred
