catalytic converter removal
I have a 1999 chevrolet Silverado. the catalytic converter is pluged so I want to remove it. But from what i understand it that by doing that the ecm will go into closed loop or somthing like that. So is there a chip or mod i can buy that will improve gas milage and fix the sensor that will messed up by holowing out the cat??

the most common cause of your issue is O2 sensors that are well over 100,000mi...in use..there are other reasons like a poorly maintained coolant system where coolant is sent to the combustion chamber .. the operation of/removal of these pollution devices can cause you to be fined...thousands of dollars.. |
