the latch is part of the console lid, and the GM part number varies with color as follows:

neutral/tan-10272563
blue-10272562
red-10272564
gray-10347286

Re: 1999 Buicky Century Custom parts list?

Just an FYI, on eBay you can buy lists that have most of the GM part #s specific to your vehicle. This is helpful if you need to do a lot of work on your vehicle or if you plan on keeping it a long time. These lists usually come from a Mitchell Collision Manual that many body shops use to obtain parts and part numbers to help in estimating body repair. I have bought some of these lists for my vehicles and consider them a useful tool as they have exploded views of all sections of a vehicle along with the corresponding part numbers that make up that section. These parts lists usually cost under $5. I couldn't find one at the moment for your vehicle, but I did find one for a LeSabre to show as an example http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/PART-...3A1|240%3A1318
