I've only done the Opel - its a pretty good kit. However, I did the one in orange - so I have no experience on the complexity of masking the one you've mentioned.

To be honest - I kinda messed up on the doors I should have built the kit once I had more experience at modelling. However, a lot of the chaps get the doors working well.

I will be doing my Team Holzer as my 4th Project (yeah the orange one) soon and I already finish my SUB as my 2nd Project.
I'll be posting my outdoor pics for my SUB to keep in archives as reference when I find the time to do so.

If you wanna play safe, work on either the SUB or the PUG cos there are alot of them here to help you with ideas.

The Opel in my opnion can help you with showing off your interiors more clearly obviously.

I would go for the Opel though cos the opening doors is way too cool to give it a miss.

Also you mentioned detailed roll cage, what better way to show it off with opened doors.

If you want to keep yourself busy, get the white & yellow opel. Great kit.
The door is not very hard to do IF you do it right. I'm building it right now and I like it.
