1/12 Porsche 935 Martini - A little bit extreme

When I got this kit I just instantly fell in love and I couldnīt hold my fingers of it any longer..

Itīs the Tamiya Porsche 935 Martini from the 1/12 big scale-series.

Here it is next to the 1/24 Mercedes DTM car and that too is quite big for a 1/24-scale car.

This kit is a re-release from Tamiya and it includes pe-parts such as seatbelts, brakes and other goodies and the quality is the normal Tamiya-quality with good fitment of the parts etc.

And after seeing this photo..

.. and thinking of the Ford Capri I built a few years ago..

.. I started cutting

So the idea is that it will look like the real one in the picture and hopefully it will turn out good too

Wish me luck !

Looking forward to this build, love Porsches, the 1;12 kits are very well done, I have this kit also, the re release, the pe parts look very good, especially the belts.

Great idea, your very brave to cut into a very expensive kit.

Re: 1/12 Porsche 935 Martini - A little bit extreme

hi,
very nice project! have a look at this web site: http://www.gunnarracing.com/. they have a Porsche Kremer 935 K3 - Crawford restoration project going on. it is well documented , even if the last update is from 2007. maybe it is a later model, but it is always a 935 ( for the porsche aficionados : please, don't shoot me!!!)
