DOne ATF change - do i need aditives

Ok, i really doubt i needed to do this, but i did it anyway - changed the ATF in my 05 Camry because I didn't like the color
Brian did warn about that!
It was changed previously with Dexron VI synthetic and Lubegard "black bottle" highly friction modified ATF supplement added, now at almost 120k i decided to do it again but with Mobil1 ATF. Fluid was dark but did not smell burnt at all and was shifting smoothly. After the change it shifts about the same but at the top range of the gear wines a bit more and drops a little further on the tach.. I still have the LubeGard, would it hurt any to add it now with fresh fluid? I also have a red bottle of LubeGard "automatic transmission protectant" - can/should I use it instead?
On a similar note, i am going to do the same thing to my son's 95 Camry, with same ATf, what additive can/should i use there?
Thanks!

I would not use any additive in any transmission. JMHO

Was the Mobil1 ATF synthetic like the Dexron VI ATF you used previously? Did you flush the transmission or just do a drain and refill? I was just wondering if it would be a bad idea to mix regular ATF and synthetic ATF.

Re: DOne ATF change - do i need aditives

I did a "drain" with external pump. then I filled it with Mobil1 synthetic (same amount as I drained) and did Brian's procedure of disconnecting the lines from the radiator. I doubt that it matters that you mix non-synthetic ATF with synthetic because characteristics should be similar just the longevity of synthetic is better. It's not like some of the coolants.

Mobil claims that its synthetic ATF is compatible with dino ATF.
