Does anyone have for sale or know where I can purchase an optional ford
part.It is called an auxillary power distribution box.It mounts from the factory on the passenger side under the dash but visable to acess. It provides an optional power source for twoway radio, other equipment.I believe the front cover slips off allowing acess to the power source.I have only seen this optional box once on an 05 P71.I called a large ford dealer in the Chicago area and they are unable to find a part number for it.I thought of taking a picture of it but I can not find a vehicle that has one. Even a part number would help.It appears to mount just to the right of the floor heat vent.thanks tom in chicago. |

Re: auxillary power distribution box crown vic
See if you can contact the Leggett and Platt company. They make the wiring conversion for the CVPI. A sub company of theirs is Crown Conversions. Sorry I do not have contact information handy.
