Lightbulb NEW PROJECT... GOLF GTI MK1 VITESSE 1/18... 18 INCHS... underway....

Hi,
I know, it's only plastic car models in this forum but you know that i love GOLF GTI, and i found this model in a GERMAN online (EBAY) for 90 euros.... = 90 $..... and I would like to have a unique model with some modifications.....:flash: :flash:

The GOLF GTI from the box.....

Now, i found in a french shop a MORGANE, just to keep the 4 wheels of 18 inchs and the 4 discs brake.

Now, a dismantling all parts and removing body.... and interior parts...

And now, just with a primer surface....

The body will be paint in grey metalizer, bumpers, 4 flanges in flat black,
interior grey/black, chrome whells 18 inchs, chrome exaust, aluminium indicator......
Thanks for comments...I very appreciate....
Laurent...THE MK1 MAN....:flash: :flash: :flash:

Nice.......But a little to old for me......i don't like many cars from the late 70's - early 90's

Is it a die-cast that you are modifying?

You are doing great work!

Very nice!

I didn't know Vitesse made a 1/18 Mk1. I've thought about picking up a Mk 1 model, but I have a real 1:1 version that needs a lot of work!

Nice car...I'm sure you'll do it up nice!
