Advice On Purchasing A STS

I'm looking to purchase a 05' or 06' STS. Are there any negative reports on this model that I need to know about? Is this a good model to purchase, etc? I need honest advice. If I need to stay away from this model I want to know. Is the 6 cylinder 4.6 a good engine? Is it better than the V8 Northstar?

the v8 N* is the 4.6.
