problem locating correct part

I bought a '99 Deville when I redeployed from Iraq. When I first bought it, everything was fine on it but about a week later the rear end started doing that natorious sag. So I put it in the air to inspect it and found the line from the pump to the air shocks was busted. Sweet. So I replaced the line and it was driving great until I took it on a road trip of about 200 on these Louisiana roads and it noticed it was sagging again. So I put it in the air and took a bottle of soapy water to find out where the leak was. It appears that it is leaking very slightly from the air shocks themselves. Cool, no problem, I'll replace them. After all I got one hell of deal on this car. But my problem is locating the CORRECT air shocks for this vehicle. Autozone, O'rielys, Advanced Auto, etc. call for one that has an electronic plug in on them (I believe this is for vehicles with the onboard electronic leveling system). Well, my car does not have the elctronic hook ups on the air shocks; only a spot for the air line to plug into. So I've been searching everywhere because I don't want to pay $495 a piece for these things when it's not even the right air shock. I believe it would work but shouldn't I be able to find some without the electronic plug hook ups somewhere? The nearest Cadillac dealership to my post is about 60 miles away so I'm hoping to find something online.

Re: problem locating correct part

Try going to www.gmpartsdirect.com and email them with your inquiry including the VIN number. They should be able to set you up. I've found them to be very helpful that way in the past when I had an unusual or confusing situation.
FWIW
YMMV

Re: problem locating correct part

Thanks for the help. It looks like they have the same part the dealership calls for and the MSRP is the same price as the dealerships list price but the price they offer it online is almost half that cost!!
